  7. It would appear Apple have cocked something up with 14.0.1 on Mojave. Open Download File, click choose File...and it doesn't fire up the Finder window. Works fine on 14.0.

I have no idea what any of the above means but it sounds very technical:thumbsup:

64 bit Windows still runs 32 bit apps. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/winprog64/running-32-bit-applications

About half the apps on this 64 bit Win10 machine are 32 bits..

And if you still want to run 16 bit apps, you install something like VirtualBox and put a 32 bit copy of Windows 10 in it, so you can run 64 bits , 32 bits and 16 bits all on the same PC.

The problem we are seeing with the rotated images is that there is an image converter / rescaler enabled on the TLB webserver that down samples big images until they fit according to the quoted maximum image size rules.

Unfortunately that image converter is not preserving the metadata in the JPEG header that tells you which way was 'up' when the image was taken.

If the file is below the limit , the converter doesnt run and so the metadata about rotation is preserved and delivered to the web browser which can do the rotation.

So small images get stored as-is. Big ones are resized and slightly mangled.

    Its annoying when it happens.

I've done some research on this and it seems the issue is particular to Apple iPhone and iPad devices, this happens because the image orientation is (apparently) dependent on the orientation of the device when uploading the image, regardless of whether the actual image is portrait or landscape. If you upload a portrait image while your device is orientated landscape then the image will appear on the forum orientated landscape, if you upload a landscape image while your device is orientated portrait, the image will appear on the forum portrait. There have been some suggested fixes for this on the xenforo forum but all appear to be dead links, so I guess the only option is to make sure your device is orientated according to the image when uploading.
