Cheers Brucie! I love it too I didn't know what DEF means but I do now! I can't actually get any heat to come out at all so I need to look into that...
If your oil filler has 710 on it, don't worry it's on upside-down & actually reads OIL Cracking bus, looks very original
Thanks Spongebob, these were in Exmouth, parked up in the car park at the far end of the beach. I think you can stay here overnight too, but you have to put £10 in the ticket machine.
Love that bus, looking at the pic of you with it and remembering your PM's when you were handing over your dosh to an American stranger, seems like two different people. Well done though, a great buy
I was a very worried & nervous person in those days of waiting! Now I am a very happy chappy with a a bus I love It makes me even happier when other people like the bus too! I'd always recommend importing, it's worth the weeks of worry!
Yesterday I bought some furniture wax to try and revitalise my faded cabinets (I'd seen a video of it working on youtube) - but it failed. Now I just have slightly more shiny faded cabinets! I also greased all the sliding door runners, which made a big difference, but then last night I read what zed said in another thread about always using oil, not grease. Nevermind... onwards and upwards!
Here are a few photos from our trip to Cornwall at the weekend. A stag weekend in the camper, and Alvin drove like a dream...
Thanks Lofty We went to Perranporth and stayed at Perran Sands campsite. The campsite's quite big and commercial - not everyones cup of tea, but walk over the dunes and the views are amazing. You can drive through the campsite and get to where I took the first photo with the sea in the background - the other photo's parked up at Fistral.
Does anyone know the name of my interior? I thought it was Helsinki but it's not. I'm on the look out for some replacement interior panels but can only find ones to fit a Helsinki or Berlin - or will they fit?
