    I've cancelled the Amazon order and placed it direct with the publisher. For information, no date is given on Amazon and other sites say the publish date is 16/6/21.

    Good idea, I may do the same. I had an email from the dreaded Amazon last week saying they were ‘having difficulty sourcing the item’. Hmmmm.
    Think I’ll see if my local bookshop can get it for me direct from the publisher (spread the love around and bypass the billionaire)

    @scrooge95 If you go on the Veloce website there is discount code on the front page you can use which brings it down to only slightly above the Amazon price

    I might just ask my local bookshop though first. Should’ve done that in the first place but got all giddy at the idea of a camper cookbook by someone I almost vaguely ‘know’ in a very loose imaginary internet people kind of way. I almost swooned at the thought of being able to wave it around and say ‘oh yes, me and Bernard Fishtrousers, we’re on the same forum you know, we go way back’ and then graciously accepting all the deflected fame. Totally lost my head, and the next thing you know, I’m ordering it on Amazon. :D

    I might see if our hospitality/chef tutors will 'require' a copy on our library shelf. Two of the tutors have campers, though a T5 and a Vivaro - from the owner of a Tranny ;)

    More importantly I'm number 27 in Parks & Campgrounds and it's less than eleven quid as well.

    I'll recommend it. Both Mrs Norris and I enjoyed, although to be honest we kind of ignored the recipes - the book is worth it just for the anecdotes/hacks

    One minor criticism is that I found the print quite small/poor contrast for reading in the evening without a decent light source for my old eyes :)

    Just got round to ordering my copy, sadly from Amazon, but at least that means I'll get it tomorrow and can take it away camping with us on Friday:thumbsup:

    I'll post an in depth, no holding back critique after I've digested the contents of said book:)
