79 twin slider panel van 2ltr

  1. For sale is my 1979 bay window twin slider panel van.

It is in need of a restoration. The van has been off the road for the last 2 years as I had planned on having the work done to it but have come to realise that I just don’t have the time or money to do it so I must let it go .

    For the good bits..

It has the 2litre type 4 engine ( although would benefit from a good service/ overhaul)

Has been lowered on the red 9 design ez rider coil over kit on the front and adjustable spring plates on the rear.

Has a CSP t handle shifter

    Stainless steel quiet pack exhaust

    Tow bar fitted

    Had new 70amp alternator

I have over £2000 of recipes for other bits and pieces I have put on her in my ownership ( bits like headlights, bushes , heater pods, cab kick boards , anti roll bar kit and much more.

And from now on with be tax exempt.

    The bad bits.

As I said it is a resto project so does need welding. The worst parts in my opinion is the roof gutters , they need replacing . Ideally it could do with a new front panel but it may be able to be repaired. Bottoms of doors need work also. Not been underneath it for a while as it’s hard to being so low but previously when looked the actual chassis was very solid.

This is a genuine panel van but at some stage had windows cut in to the rear panels and then at a later stage these have been welded back in.

I would highly recommend viewing as it is a project but I do believe this is quite a rare van being a 2 litre twin slider.

Obviously with the current situation viewing is not possible but thought I would advertise now to see if there is any interest., the pictures are not great but are the best I can do for now.

As for price I am open to offers but for forum rules I as putting the price at £5000 but open to serious offers.
