Normal, there's not much bare metal underneath and it'll all get stripped right off when I decide to paint it properly or not, don't know what look to go for yet, just want to use it for a bit before summers over :D

It's very hot today and the liner is as soft as Marmitee
Don't want to over stretch it so I'll see whether any creases disappear later when it cools before I glue it to the screen edge!

Nice to come home at lunch and find the lad hard at it

He needs to learn to drive first @bernjb56 but then he's welcome,
Younger sis can now drive but too young for insurance

  7. Loving the progress on this, registering should take within 10 days. You could probably phone after 7 days and ask them how the application is going etc.

    Headlining in
    Screen in
    Wipers on
    Washers working
    Dash top in
    Bumpers on
    Seatbelts fitted
Window channel to regulator welded back together
    Door cards on/ handles etc
Seam seal on welds underneath plus some paint
Few bits of filling and some redoxide on bare bits
    Mirrors on
Rear lights fixed in and rechecked
Handbrake cables adjusted back up but not very impressive , rear brakes rebuilt but self adjusting which I don't like much.
Drove it round the block, , plenty more jobs to do but I'll be happy/amazed if it passes MOT in the morning!!

  19. Major bummer dude, was all ready to congratulate you on joining a world of folk asking you "where's the rest of your camper mate?"
Ah well, now you've still got that to look forward to! What she fail on or did the MOT literally not happen?
