Big bit of steel ... = new front hubs

  4. Wow.. that is as you say a big bit of steel!

That's going to take some sanding into shape...

Bit of wet’n’dry and some verniers should keep it square ;-)

@lhu1281 Wowzers - are you going for 5 stud? Can’t wait to see them.

  8. Five stud would be easy as I would just use 944 alloy hubs like on my bus . But as I can’t make my mind up on wheels they will have both 4 and 5 stud pattern

  9. original disc/hub combo weighs 7kg each
New vented discs weigh 5 kg each so I have my work cut out considering I had to crane the steel bar in to lathe
Wilwood caliper weighs loads less than steel ones plus I’ve ditched the heavy later bumpers

I need to change a few things to make them fit my 130 x4 steels and my 130 x5 Fuchs .

bit of plating and a callipers bracket and we’re good

  11. Wow.. that's a thing of beauty!

  18. Atleast you've got a decent choice of wheels with the two stud patterns.
I still love the look of 4 stud Pedrinis on them.
