Eek - sorry about that. I think the fixed passenger seat with adjustable foot rest was only used for the first couple of years so I don’t suppose your ‘76 had one anyway....

The dealer could have fitted any radio you desired at point of order , so I just wanted something of the period that I could fit an Aux lead to ...

Excellent job on the boomerang exhaust bracket - I assumed you were going to move the lambda sensor!
And I see you’ve been at the milling machine again for the fuel pipe brackets, very nice!

A few pics as you asked .... complete new brakes inc all lines . Rear strut kit fitted . Stripping and paining the whole underneath inc wheel arches took an age ... did yours have the floor pan air deflectors fitted ??

Hat’s off to you, impressive stuff.
Yes, mine’s got the black plastic deflectors underneath.
    Couple of questions..
What are you using to paint the underside with? Mine’s just dirty but otherwise in incredibly good OG nick so seems a shame to paint over, but will need some protection.
My rear shocks are shagged, I see you’ve got some nice new Belsteins I think. Can you recommend a supplier?

  18. I have used Raptor bed liner epoxy to paint the underneath .. you can get it tinted to L80E .. there was zero rust but the factory paint is so thin and these cars rust so easy that I’m going belt and braces I will wax oil the hell out of it as well ....
rear shocks came from design911 and springs are 140lb 914rubber ones bought from autoatlanta...
all ball joints and bushings were from design911 as well as genuine steering gaiters ...

suspension bushes were an absolute ass to fit as really really tight . Fit the shock towers and then make the custom hubs
