73 Westy - Orangina

Discussion in 'Introduce Yourselves' started by Ian Dupuy, Mar 13, 2014.

  1. Hi All

Just signed up and thought I would introduce myself, we own a 1973 late bay Bus which was converted to a Westy no idea when but the date stamp on the rock & roll bed was 1974. We have owned her for last 4 years, shes affectionately known as Orangina but when we bought her we went to a 2nd book fair and found Oscar Orange. But couldn't get past the boys name as she needs lots of gentle attention. She's currently being restored by a very talented friend and last week went for her re-spray. So absolutely desperate to get her back and ready for the summer season.

    Thanks Ian & Emily

  20. Hi 72Wilma

This was the weekend but we are looking at next weekend. Sprayers took longer than planned but we got the doors yesterday and they were being rebuilt last night. Only to discover that the JK complete door and seal kit doesn't contain the felt clips...... So they are on there way to my mates. So hopefully going to pick her up Saturday.[IMG][IMG][IMG]
