Hello folks, I have a 73 Devon conversion, it has its devon tag on the rear door and the proper sticker on the passenger bulkhead, so it is a genuine conversion, however, it appears to have different windows in the rear panel. I have looked at loads of pics of these vans and most appear to have the rear edge of the rear window running at a slight angle, parralell to the front edge of the rear vent. My rear window is cut out the same as the forward windows, the rear edge of it is not slightly sloping but straight.

Is this common for the devon van conversions. ?

Next question is the factory conversions look to have better, flush fitting window seals or slightly recessed opening and a shaped panel on the inside making everything look well errm factory..... can the van conversions be tweeked ? Does anyone have detailed pictures of both types from inside and outside...

    cheers..

  2. Devon used all sorts to make the vans, some are based on panel vans and some on Mini buses, you could be comparing one against the other.
