  3. Well Kank has had Poppy, as the missis calls her, for over a week and he has been working very hard on her, im really pleased but also a feeling of concern as its a bit like a lucky dip not knowing what you find :( ;D

    Well impressed so far and i know Kank will do an awesome job, thank you Kank.

    Kank also takes all the shots and email/texts/photobuckets them all over

  5. I agree buddy, i dont think its a bad start, just the main bits like sills, arches, battery tray and the odd niggle.

    Gonna be awesome when its done :D

    This is only 2 passes of the front area (1 to remove the nasty underseal and 1 to clear the paint) next pass will be to clear the rust out of the metal.

    what was it painted with?
     
  16. 2k paint just standard jet black 1 coat of wash primer 2 primer stone chip then top coat it will also have wax oil and underseal later.
     
  17. I've got a load of jet black 2pac left was going to do my chassis in it but it would have to be brushed on I've not got a jig or a ramp to get it very high .

  19. Looks spot on but are you now going to cover is with wax oil ?
    Or clear wax oil
     
  20. Tetroseal on the chassis and wax oil in the seals and holes and anywhere I can't get the other stuff in, it does seem a shame to coat it in a heavy sealant but protection is better then shiny paint.

    Might last another 40 years then.
