Well Kank has had Poppy, as the missis calls her, for over a week and he has been working very hard on her, im really pleased but also a feeling of concern as its a bit like a lucky dip not knowing what you find ;D Well impressed so far and i know Kank will do an awesome job, thank you Kank. Kank also takes all the shots and email/texts/photobuckets them all over Off she went on a wet Monday morning Up she went later that day Being stripped More jobs Kank found....tut tut tut The rest is as follows ;D :'(
I agree buddy, i dont think its a bad start, just the main bits like sills, arches, battery tray and the odd niggle. Gonna be awesome when its done
> Here's a little pic you might like........ This is only 2 passes of the front area (1 to remove the nasty underseal and 1 to clear the paint) next pass will be to clear the rust out of the metal.
2k paint just standard jet black 1 coat of wash primer 2 primer stone chip then top coat it will also have wax oil and underseal later.
I've got a load of jet black 2pac left was going to do my chassis in it but it would have to be brushed on I've not got a jig or a ramp to get it very high .
Tetroseal on the chassis and wax oil in the seals and holes and anywhere I can't get the other stuff in, it does seem a shame to coat it in a heavy sealant but protection is better then shiny paint. Might last another 40 years then.
