Thought it was odd... 3-4 laps too long on the middle stint. Millions around the world probably asking the same thing and wondering what they need to do to get a high paid job in the strategy room!?
You mean Verstappen, but - Yes bad decision to leave him out so long - should have won easily- but at least it makes it a bit more interesting for Mexico
It was sooooo interesting I fell asleep when Ham was in the lead and woke up when they were on the podium! I would not like to comment if any wine had been consumed!
Bearing in mind F1 is about the margins rather than wheel to wheel most of the time, you actually missed the best second half to a race this year. The top three were genuinely racing for the win in the closing laps! And Vettel was not involved
Yep... his championship is academic, but I suspect he'd rather be on the top step when he does claim it. Mercs need a few good finishes to tie up the Constructors, so I don't imagine they're going to let off for the last three races
Kubica is back! Driving for Williams. That should spice things up a bit. What nut job! I really like him. And it should please all my Polish friends and family!
Good news for him and a decision that will no doubt mean a few more cameras are aimed at the adverting on the side of the Williams! I remain optimistic that Williams and Mclaren will lead and English renaissance in F1 next year! This thread seems to have gone quiet tho... everyone looking forward to the Abu Dhabi party, Lewis handing a win to Bottas and then the freefall into paywall F1 next year?
I enjoyed that.. shame it's the last one now 'til march even though the championship(s) were already won, it was important psychologically for mercedes /hamilton to win the last race to firmly cement their dominance this season which they duly did shame to lose alonso but i can understand why.. but i'm already looking forward to seeing how lando norris gets on in a mclaren, george russell and robert kubica in the williams, lecerc in a ferrari, gasly in a redbull etc.
