Genuine German Solexes, much better than Brosols or knock-off Chinese things. These have been thoroughly cleaned inside and out, rebushed and fitted with new diaphragms and jets as appropriate. New return springs. Correct height lid gaskets, new manifold gaskets and nuts. Both fitted with the rear vacuum point for airbox operation. Two available, "A" and "B". "B" does not have the idle cutoff solenoid. Both have working choke heaters. "A" - £85 + £5 postage. "B" - £80 + £5 postage.
Very nice, good job. Tempting spare if i'd seen them earlier .. Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the accelerator squirter tube supposed to aim just at the edge of the centre round casting so the flow of fuel is sort of atomised rather than a jet of fuel hitting the throttle plate ?. Sorry for being an anorak.
May be a good thing to do, although Solex say shoot it straight down the barrel. Don't think it really matters, tbh
Are you likely to be flogging any more , preferably silver plated. No seriously, i would be interested. I don't suppose you know what size hole is in the throttle plates?.
Thanks, useful info for me . 3.2mm = 1/8" or .125 thou. I wonder if it was originally an Imperial of Metric conception? Are they 34 pisc 3 ?. They are sold i take it ?.
