Hi All, Reluctantly I am going to have to sell my Late Bay Panel Van. He's been very reliable and is in very good condition and has happily taken me all over the country with no problems. I've been a lurker on this site for years and have always found all your info very helpful. I did make some posts before the site went down and started a fresh but I have not been an active member recently. I thought this would be a great place to find a good home for my van. The van sits nicely low and now doesn't have any problems with speed bumps thanks to the new Creative Engineering Weedeater 2 adjustable front beam and new Creative Engineering adjustable spring plates that were installed by Marc at Border Restorations last September who also performed any welding that was necessary underneath and any other bits and pieces that needed doing. There was a new VW 1600 Mexico Engine installed a few years ago, before I bought it from Olly at Southwest VWs who had restored the van for himself. There is a 2/3 width rock and roll bed and buddy seat with an amp and sub underneath. This and the stereo run off the leisure battery as do the spotlights. There is also a new unused Petronix Ignitor electronic ignition ready to fit. MOT runs until October 2013 and it is taxed until end of September 2013 EDIT: NOW SOLD The van is located in West London. Thanks Konaboy, much appreciated. Panels just have something about them don't they! I love this van and would keep it if I could afford to, unfortunately I just can't. Talking of which I just realised the other day that my insurance is due for renewal on June 15th and I don't want to fork out for a years insurance on a van I'm about to sell so was thinking if it goes before then I could pass on the saving I would make on the insurance and could drop the price to £8300 ono. (kind of like a special offer for the next fortnight only ) Anyone interested or know anyone who may be? Cheers, Ben
Hi all, My van is still for sale and I'm getting really close to having to renew my insurance for a year so if anyone is interested in making an offer I would love to avoid unnecessarily paying "the man" a years worth of insurance I don't plan to use. Cheers, Ben
