as you can see above the repair it has been previously "what looks like" been panel beaten with 50 12 bore shotgun rounds and feels that way too - welder suggests keep the original panel and the repair will be done however starting to think just get VW panel replacement ???

  9. One thing i do have to add to this Resto Project is definitively a big learning curve, and at the moment the biggest lesson Ive learnt is no matter how great you think they may be on the outside theres always something hiding under the paintwork thats gonna cost you more than an ex Mrs !

  10.
  11. Ok been working on this interior, any feedback would be good - the hole under sink is for combi microwave for hook up of evening, the door to the left of sink would be for fresh water and pump for sink, with storage or some kinda cooler under the microwave - seat facing panel is where i want to situate the screen - probably thinking way out my league but crazy ideas flowing.

  16. Well havent been on here for some time due to project slamming to halt after the welder pulling a serious fast one, Paid upfront in full to finish work - BIG MISTAKE !! Camper was dropped off at my address in the heat of night due to the guy doing a moonlight flick from his workshop - needless to say work totally unfinished, covered in Gold over spray all over the bus and windows, Original hub caps all missing along with panels supplied to finish work. To say Im *******ed is not the word !

On a lighter note, had a chat with a fellow enthusiast today which has given me a great lift to get this project back on the road, Ive had another welder in to finish off the mess left by previous guy, and have today sealed the floor. Will post some pics up shortly.

  17. Gutted for you! Hope you get it sorted.
