FOR SALE 1975 T2 unfinished project.

Discussion in 'Late Bay Classifieds' started by manyprojects, Aug 25, 2013.

  1. Hi,
I have for sale my 1975 T2 Camper, which I have owned for the past year. I bought the camper as a project and have spent a lot of money locating/sourcing parts for the completion.
When I bought the van it had sustained an engine fire and as you would expect was damaged both in the engine bay and surrounding area.
In order to complete the van I purchased another camper and removed all the parts I needed for the repair. I have approximately 95% of all the parts needed to put the van back on the road.

The van had previously had a lot of money spent on it and has been made to look like an early van, with chrome bumpers and lowered indicators/prototype bay lights.
The van comes with a complete 1600cc bay engine, believed to be good, however not run for a couple of years.
I have a complete wiring loom and all the required bits from the donor van, to rebuild/get the engine running.
The van will need a Vic check as it was subject to an insurance claim. I have spoken to DVLA and Vosa, who have informed me that following MOT the van can be returned to the road.
The Vosa check is to check the VIN and chassis numbers only and both are still present/intact.

The van is in generally good solid condition and would'nt take a great deal more work to get up together.

    Offers around £2000.00
Van is located in the Midlands

  6. Hi,
I have had a few messages regarding the van, asking if I would consider breaking/parting it up. I would consider this but not sure what interest I would get.
Not sure what to do at the moment.
