  1. i have decided to do some work on my 1975 transporter. some work has been done here and there to make it look presentable since i bought it. i probably will not strip the entire bus apart due to limited space , but i do plan on gutting the interior , bodywork and some new seals for the windows that need it!!

  2. nice looking bus :)

    looking forward to updates

  3. thanks!! this project won't be nearly as maticulous as yours. wow, coming along great.... !!!!!

i wish i had the space and time to do all of that! but i will still be happy with what i do.

  4. I think yours looks in much better condition than mine was! so I dont think you'll have any problems

are you going to be keeping it on the road and running while you do the work? ..........in some ways I wish I had got some use out of my bus before I started (or at least did the minimum to get it road worthy!

  5. that is the question i keep asking myself. I'm not quit sure if I'm going to still drive it or not while this is going on. i love driving the bus and i think ill miss it too much and rush the process if i can't drive it. so i might keep it drivable just to ease that urge. haha.. i also need to see if it will fit in my garage so i can make a little paint booth. it will all come together, little by little. the body isn't too bad, just a few dings , paint and few window seals. most of the attention will be to the interior.

  6. well, havnt done any work, i am doing this project outside. my garage is turned into a shaping room where i shape my surfboards. so the bus won't fit in there. it has been 100 degrees here in san pedro ca, ya thats extremely hot considering I'm right next to the beach. so a little on the hotter side to be out there grinding on metal. hopefully it cools down a bit tomorrow and i can start filling some dents. the only metal work will be to the bottom right corner right under the battery . thats my only rust through spot!!! very lucky!!

  7. i have a mac, how do i submit multiple photos in one post, and not sideways??????

  8. the photo above is a tester of color sanding and buffing. i did not like the way my paint tester" came out that i had done. so i was planing on sending it out to get painted.. but i did some research on sanding buffing and polishing and it came out really good. I'm happy with it. more work but hey, thats what i signed up for .....

  9. grinded all the rust off my emblem!!!

  10. its looking nice

probably worth trying to orientate the photo's before uploading them, if you use photo bucket, you can copy the image code and paste it into your post, you can do this for as many photos as you want

  11. can't seem to figure it out! don't have photoshop. and can't just drag photos in. i guess one at a time and sideways will do until i figure it out haha

  12. today i cleaned and painted the trunk storage area, and painted it, nice and fresh!!!, also removed all the interior panels and cleaned up a bit. took a long time but seeing progress makes me want to keep going!!!! can't wait till the next step.. nasty
