A very reluctant sale of a UK based Jurgen! £18000 - no offers or tyre kickers! Based in Burscough, Lancashire. I'm selling for 2 reasons: 1) new baby on the way and for 4 of us it isn't really practical anymore 2) we are moving abroad within the next 18 months and i wont be able to register a RHD camper easily. I will be VERY sad to see my van go, I absolutely love it. Its not perfect, but its 44 and is solid, low miles and has had lots of work done recently. The van was only imported from South Africa only 18 months ago. It is tax and MOT exempt too! There are still bits and bobs to do and if you are after perfection don't buy a 44 year old VW, but it is a real beauty, drives great (has just returned from a trip to Southern Spain) Pics and video below. The van was painted a few months ago and Is generally a pretty good job but again if you are a perfectionist you may want to get bits touched up! A local volkswagen restorer quoted me 1500 for a full cab respray but to be honest it’s really not necessary. Most importantly it has been prepped really well before painting and can supply all resto fotos! (Some included below) Its an unusual layout, I am thinking it it was one of the first turtles off the production line as it has an extra bed/seating area. It is all original and even comes with the map table and a nearly complete set of crockery! The interior upholstery was also replaced recently. (please note I barn store the van out of the wet and the pics with the red/white interior show the old interior before it was replaced) Like I said this is a very very reluctant sale and ultimately if it doesn’t sell I won’t be too dissapointed but I am being a good husband and listing it! If you want a vid of the van from a recent trip to Spain I can WhatsApp it over 07929400657 Serious buyers only please. Thanks
It’s fab, but is there any particular reason you’re advertising this in the non late bay classifieds section?
Where are you moving to @VWFURGOJURGENS ? If it’s number shows it was a camper originally I think it should be ok? We tried to Spanish register rhd camper but it had been commercial van conversion so not allowed. Spain doesn’t let you register rhd commercial vehicles Re registered a lhd T4 Westie but probably easier as lhd.
Sorry bud, just seen this - down to malaga but I’ve been told it will be a bit of a faff and could do with the cash for some work on the new house so needs must! It’s barn stored now for winter so will prob actively market next spring
