For Sale is my RHD Australian import Crewcab , i have owned this fantastic crewcab for the last 4 yrs spending many hours and many thousands of £ getting her to look and drive as she does today . The only show i managed to attend was Tatton park in 2017 with it , and until recently was stored in my garage . I have recently been using it on a regular basis , commuting around 30-40 miles on each trip ! I've probably only managed say 400 miles in 4 yrs ! as i'm always busy with work commitments. Flew through the MOT last month ! Specification is as follows :- 2000 cc type 4 engine. 5 rib gearbox Twin 40 webber carbs. CSP shifter. Vintage speed Exhaust. Porsche 17" x 7" cup alloys. (with as new tyres) Porsche drilled and vented discs , virtually NEW. Porsche calipers all round. Genuine 3 Bow roof rack. 6 ,New seat belts ,(originals available). New front mat. 95% of this crewie is original steel and i estimate 75% of the paint is original too , lovely patina with sign writing history, all the life and history is embedded in this vehicle. Cootamundra Tractor & Machinery Service. NSW Australia ( ironically i've been there too ! ) NO ROT. NO RUST . Any trial or inspection welcome. House move forces reluctant sale. Asking a reasonable £ 20.000.
Thanks to all who have responded above , but as yet no interest in a purchase . So open to an offer ! ........( sensible like )
I imagine it’s not the vehicle - there’s just not much cash about in the current climate making it a buyers market. I managed to sell a niche motorbike recently but it was in response to a wanted ad on a specialist forum. Just a bit of luck really. I assume you’re also advertising this elsewhere ? Would make an excellent work or promo vehicle for someone. Stirlingmoz
I am pleased to report i no longer need to sell my Crewcab ! Everything at the 11th hour has come together and after a very tense 10 weeks, we are finally moving house in 2 weeks !!! I never want to go through that again ! The Nationwide let us down (existing mortgage lender ). The TSB are a complete total waste of space ( ive put that as calmly as i could ). The Natwest are complete professionals and did their job to the letter. . Short and sweet NO LONGER FOR SALE FOLKS !
Glad it all came together for you, I’m sure you would have missed your bus, I still miss mine after nearly 3,years and was tempted by yours
