Last year we decided after talking about it for the past few years we would take the plunge and move house.. I now had a decision to make ! Do I sell the bus as another unfinished project.. or have a final push and finish him. He’s had all the usual stuff.. . Heritage Cab doors . Wheel tubs . Sills . Jacking point . Total front end all 3 panels . Cab floor . Cargo floor repair panels . FBI Rust free rear hatch . FBI Rust free front beam . Full suspension replacement, shocks ball joints/steering components . Steering Box overhaul with new seals . New front and rear crossmembers . All Brake system replaced.. Pads/discs/Shoes/ drums/brake pipes and hoses. . Carburettor rebuild kit . Rear engine oil seal . Engine service, Oil, Oil strainer, spark plugs, Rocket covers and gaskets . New distributor . Just last month Bears motor sport full gearbox rebuild £1,220 12 months transferable warranty. . Fuel tank has been flushed then lined . All fuel hose/breather/filler hose have been replaced. . Every rubber seal. Window & door have been replaced with best quality seals costing hundreds . Light Ash camping pod and lockers with buddy seat, Smev sink and hob.. with fresh water containers . New door cards and vinyl floor . Full width Rock & Roll bed . New pop top canvas from proud to pop. £350 . Full set of BRM alloys with new classic tyres . Engine is stock 1600 The bus has had full bare metal respray The list goes on……. This bus is registered with DVLA as a historic vehicle.. And is now tax and mot exempt. That said I still put the bus in for MOT and it flew through with no issues. Restoring this bus has been a labour of love.. But has to go to fund the renovation of my new house and help cover the stamp duty..
