As most of you on here know our old friend & camping buddy Alan (Bumpnudger7 on here) passed away last summer and Tina has asked myself and Ste @lowie to help with the sale of Alans 1973 Brazilian Split Screen. Mods, I am going to post a link to eBay here so please, because of the circumstances in which the bus is being sold, let this one go as a once only favour?? Here is the detail of the vehicle: 1776 refurbished long block build by Jay at Aircooled Hut Mansfield. Twin 34 ict carbs Stainless steel sidewinder type exhaust Rev counter, oil presdure, volt metre gauges Adjustable rear spring plates Heavy duty clutch plate Braided fuel lines Rewired Sound deadening and insulated Electric ignition Uplohstery by Bromsgrove auto trimmers Side rail fitted for figure of 8 awning Foils for windows and front windscreen cover Engine tune and rolling road tested, only done 100 miles Alloy wheels Imported feb 2016, registered may 2016, all shipping, import and dvla papers can be seen Buyer to collect with insurance papers Payment by bank transfer
The bus has been looked after and has had minimal welding (I think three small patches), a respray and underneath around the chassis has been stone chipped (Tina will know) and anyone who knew Al would know he looks after his buses. The vehicle is located in Hull, has all of the paperwork from when it was imported. Asking price is £24,000 as per the ebay listing https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Volks...566216?hash=item5b8a5fec88:g:Z6EAAOSwKqJgO--V If anyone is interested or knows any serious buyers, let me or Ste know on here and we can put you in touch with Tina. Ta!
Not being one for fancy vans, I can obviously change my mind - that's lovely , shame it's for sale in such awful circumstances.. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Thanks for the kind words, Al was a great friend to all, so it’s with sadness that I wrote the ad Pass the word around guys, if you know of anyone wanting a good honest split screen, this one is the one.
