1400km. away from home

the blue hour 15 min later and it's pitch dark

 

man, you guys get it all - nice rust free VW's, an hour called blue, luxury beds when you go to collect your cars, 50% tax rate...

 

take something a little warmer than that thin grey blanket though, it made me shiver thinking that was all you had to keep out the cold *brrrrrr*

Ok here goes,,just a few pics of the jurney back home








It was a 1483km.drive,,used 166 liters of fuel, spent approx 20 hours driving. 3 times along the journey friends from the norwegian vw forum where out taking pics of us
Never missed a beat, Erik has got himselves a wonderfull latebay

 

What an awesome bus

 

Doing a bit on it every day, new hub caps, new back bumper, donated by a friend have got the front one aswell, just not on yet. R&R hinges from Alex,vw herritage on its way.

 

Friend of us found this old picture of it while still in duty as a firetruck

 

Is that hose pump a VW engine? If so I'd check the fuel hoses with that jerry can being so close

 

Sure is we did ask if they had the pump and hoses, but unfortunately it was gone

 

It's mad, but my addled brain wants to have sex with all you buses


You have to stop being so Norwegian cool my friend. Wear strong pants when we meet

Great stuff Makes me want to go to Norway again, but not to molest anybody or any vans to be honest ???

 

Long time, but this bus is now mutch loved by it's new family O0
And just now they'r on way for the first camping trip in it. One week down south of Norway.
