  1. Oh yes. Second best thing I've bought for my van (first was a Berg shifter).

If you've got the dosh, buy one.

    That is all.

It is on my list - but may have to settle for a 009 for a while.

  7. I'm drooling over one at mo .......that would be my next buy for the bus ..Ive seen similar models on a few classsic English sports cars....in some article the owner said it changes the mpg quite a bit ,i dont think they'll be much difference in mpg,coz the stock system is quite efficient, but for reliabilty its a must buy ......and one has leds!

  8. Can someone please explain the spark balancing the article speaks of

  14. Bit confused like others. I can understand how it does the replication of mechanical advance as that is jsut proportional to engine speed. But Vac advance (which 009s don't have, as they were designed for racing) is proportional to throttle position. In a standard dizzie that is determined by the vac in the carbs plenium chamber, but how does this unit know what's giong on? Doe si thave a vac connection?

  15. Now I know virtually nothing, but it even looks sexy to me. No points and maintenance free? Yes please.

I reckon it looks nice and does a good job but it seems a bit of overkill for our little old engines that run ok on cheaper versions
