So far so good, I've just completed 20 miles, and it drove very nicely. The tickover seems smoother and the revs settle back down quick in comparison to my old dizzy.

 

Your old dizzy needs a clean up so you can keep it as a spare. Either for you or somebody you find along the way..

Undo the screws, twist the points base plate till it unlocks, look at the brown tinted metal work..
