Looking for a good straight clutch pedal for a '75 to replace my bent one? Can anyone beat @davidoft to the draw?
Which part bent Mark? I'm trying to imagine the force required to damage one of these, they're chunky!
The main long round bit had bent, back in South Africa I think, or it was where it joins the flat bit at the bottom, and had made a right mess of the hole in the floor by constantly rubbing on it and still was. I got someone to fix it before I got my own welder and they bent it back supposedly and bodged a weld in the floor. I am a bit suspicious of the welded up bracket that holds the pedal shaft. Why is it welded? I'm going to take the pedal off and grind off the awful welded plate. When I refit a straight original pedal I'm hoping I can either weld the floor back how it should be or see if there's another issue.
Tell Oft that you'll have his if he paints it for you. If he agrees, tell Mick you'll have his if he paints it for you and hand delivers it.
