How to Lower a late bay front beam with Beam adjusters

  1. So I have needed to replace my front beam as the original was corroded. I have sourced a second hand front beam in good condition. My original was lowered by somebody else and it turns out they just removed one of the drop arms and removed half of the leaves! Not recommended as it has the potential to fracture the remaining leaves and of course leaves you with a weak front suspension that constantly bottoms out on the stops or worse still tyres rubbing going over bumps!
So I had a look and couldn’t really find a “How To” so thought I would pop this up.
Very easy - go to Creative engineering and buy yourselves a pair of these
    https://creative-engineering.com/product-category/front-suspension/beam-adjusters/

Then go to this page https://creative-engineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/adjustor-fitting-instructions.pdf

And that is it. Simple as that! You need basic mechanical skills a welder
and the ability to use it.
