Broke my key in the drivers door :-(

I took the barrel out and that’s broken too. If poss I’d like to get a barrel to match the key as all my locks are on the same one. Any suggestions on how to get a replacement? Thanks Chris

is it easy to rekey a barrel? He’s charging £45 for a barrel and to rekey. Seems a good price.

 

It's not too difficult, but you have to have enough shims to select from to build up the new lock to match your existing key. In practice, I found you need several donor locks for their shims.

 

I get it back tomorrow. Not. Bad turnaround.
