Today is International Cat Day

Blimey he's enormous! Cute paws.

 

Diggory took exception to me putting the awning up on his front lawn this weekend...

 

It’s a nice picture but surely a fake. Cats looking out but reflection is at the camera, taken at an angle

 

We started worrying when we had a cute little kitten with great big paws. He has not discovered how to miaow very loudly yet. Probably just as well.

 

I can assure you the photo is not a fake - I’m not that clever.

The only explanation I can offer is that the glass has a ‘one way’ film on the inside.

You can look out but you can’t see in.

‘Monty’ (my cat) loves it because he can look at the birds on the tree outside but they are completely oblivious to him.

Diggory is a great name for a cat . Named after Cedric or does he just like digging?

Tried to remember my Hardy novels, pretty sure it wasn’t Jude, or Tess of the..., thought it might be The Woodlanders... eventually google came to my rescue. Long time since I read that one. I do like a bit of Hardy though, not always the most cheerful novels

 

After such a delicious breakfast in bed, what do you expect..?

He does pretty well on the mouse/rat hunt and finishing off anything the dog pack hasn't eaten.
