  1. Possibly not the best time to try and sell my van, but I thought I would put the feelers out, what better time to work on getting a van to your specification. I have listed her in other places and have had a few tyre kickers so I thought I would come to the place where real enthusiasts would come.
1978 2.0 Ltr Type 4 engine, Tax exempt late bay window tintop campervan
Please note – THIS IS NOT A SHOW BUS – it is however a very well maintained start every time driving working bus, She hasn’t been out much in the last 12 months, about 400 miles maximum
It has been kept in a private garage for the last 7 years of her life so very sound and dry most importantly
The last MOT (18 May 2019) there were no advisories, I was going to get it MOT exempt as well, however as I am selling that will be something the next owner can do.
The front seats are not original to the van, it used to have some old Rover seats in that were horrible, so I managed to source the ones that are currently fitted, the drivers seat has a tear down it but we usually put throws over them so it doesn’t show
Latest job I have done is change the front brakes in Jun 2019 and I have rear brake shoes to do but have not got around to doing it yet.
I have numerous receipts for everything that has been done to the van over the years below is a list of the parts I have changed (I wanted to list fully so you can see the work that has gone into the van)
    Rear Brake Shoes
    Brake Adjusting stars
    Brake pads and fitting kit

The interior of the van is fitted with a SMEV sink and double hob gas cooker in excellent condition, I have wired the pump to be either 12 or 230V (transformer easily changeable if you choose to run from mains or leisure battery) I have fitted 2 x double socket outlets each with 2 USB charger sockets, ideal for phones/ IPADs etc, we usually take a small TV with us that we can watch, there is no fitted fridge, we have one that we put outside in our awning (not include for sale with the van)
There is a 4 way 230 V Distribution board installed all in accordance with current (18th Edition wiring regulations) RCD protected.
There is a ¾ width rock and roll bed with rear mounted speakers and a stereo fitted
There is also a leisure battery fitted with a relay kit and a battery isolator for the main battery as an added security step
The van does come with the roof rack that is shown in the photos (just Kampers 3 Bow) and a full set of thermal window mats
The van has fully lined curtains that are warm and keep out the light, there is lots of storage and a water carrier and gas bottle can be easily stored and changed/ connected.
Reason for sale is she doesn’t get the use that she deserves, and work has taken over how much I can use her, sorry to see her go, as you can see I have spent a lot of time and money getting it to where it is. She is solid, starts every time but not perfect. So, if you are looking for a good bus that you can get in tomorrow and use this is a great start and then you can make her your own
I have loads more photos and photos through the changes that have happened
I am looking to get £9500 but am willing to listen to sensible offers, please text me on 07789635547 if you have any further questions about condition, am based in Gillingham Kent.
