1. Caught the ferry to Santander and drove back through Spain & France. 2. Scotland from the South Coast and back.
Have done this trip 3 times visiting family in North Holland France,Belgium,Holland and Germany. Also been to Yorkshire and Scotland.
Cologne via the Floriade. Southampton to Dublin a couple of times. The Dordogne via Mont Saint Michel.
Not planning on going abroad just yet .... 800 mile round trip Gloucester to Dorset coast: Oxford/London/Maidstone/Hastings/Broadstairs/Bournemouth/Brighton/Wells ..... in a week with one fan belt change at first stop
Dubai to Doha, via Saudi and return, 400 miles each way, to visit old friends. One day there and one day back. Made up the bed in the back, kids playing with Lego on it. My wife preparing sandwiches etc. on the go. Tony
Over to Normandy, down into Cornwall, up to Lutterworth..... so not far enough really. But adventure awaits
Bristol to Bordeaux via Dordoigne and that other big French river region who’s name escapes me. Back via Lacanau and @lost-en-france place. Done it a few times and it’s normally about 2000 miles round trip.
South east France to north east Scotland; a trip we make every year to babysit during the tatty holidays. The round trip is usually about 4000km.
