Thank God for that. After last-ditch negotiations with the EU, it's been agreed that the UK keeps the same benefits and trading rights as before, in exchange for Yorkshire. Contractors will start cutting along the Yorkshire county border with angle grinders tomorrow, and the whole county will be towed across the North Sea and moored off the coast of Denmark. Benefits for both sides: we won't have to put up with their endless bloody moaning, and the Danes will have somewhere to store nuclear waste, dodgy asylum-seekers, etc A win-win!
UK back to the bottom of the medal tables. Back with a no hope national team. Back with no proper cycle race. Most important- hours of recorded sun down through loss of Barnsley. Denmark's not a bad place to be moored off
Part of the deal is that we keep some key Yorkshire folk. They'd be moved south and slowly introduced into the community. They're currently deciding who. Forgot to add that we're keeping Barnsley (they'll saw around it), so @crossy2112 should have a nice sea view sometime soon.
A credible result at last !! There'll be no moaning about which side o t'pennines is best as the good side will have left Bonus being some much needed sun for the pastry skinned Danes - I've seen the movies ... Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
Would it not be better to nail Yorkshire on to Calais thus making ferry crossings shorter ,this would surely make cross channel ferry tickets cheaper due to reduced fuel costs.
I'm not liking it. I don't want to have to negotiate the M25 to visit Yorkshire. Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
The whole idea is very inhumane. How the hell is a Yorkshireman supposed to survive in the hot climate south of Larnon?
