Sorted my bus yesterday cleaned and polished a bit you won't see lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
looks like you've polished it too hard and rubbed a hole into the step.........................................
This arrived today. New Bosch starter without the need for the brass bush. Hopefully will last longer than the last rubbishy cheap (£70!) starter. This one was £200. today
I have a similar valve compressor to that, I put it in the drill stand to compress the spring and it works quite well to be honest...
No you've got it wrong, she was having the builders in and she didn't want them to destroy the cabinets
Those G clamp type aren't great for bus heads because of the angle of the valve, if I was doing more often I'd make something better. How's the engine build coming along Steve?
I meant just the pikey bit that I fit in the drill to press it down......... engine case may be bolted back together this week, I have checked all the clearances and built up the crank ready.
Bit more done, new throttle cable fitted and bit of undersealing done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Out in the sun today making a start on the crappy doors. Heavy pitting on the underside of the inner frame. Do I clean up and rust treat or chop out a large section and replace? Not sure yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fixed a front curtain across the cab with press studs on the roof lining. Can't sleep well with light coming in! Less hassle than going all round the front of the cab. I'll remove the Velcro strip I tested it out with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
