  1. no viewers as usual ! , i just pray it breaks 10k otherwise a grown man will cry

  2. If it doesn't make what you want I can bid on it so you don't let it go too cheap. But then just cancel the transaction if I win it. Wife has veto'd me bidding for real anymore on it

    Great buy for someone.
I couldn't have let it go for that though!

  14. Well he won't be the first and he won't be the last TLBer to turn someone over ... I think Rustymokeybus appreciated the risks of Ebaying, he'd probably still be waiting for a buyer at original price he was seeking.

  15. Maybe...

Whoever the buyer is, they haven't turned anyone over. It was a no reserve auction.
A low price is the risk you take when you don't bother putting a reserve on.
If I'd bought it I a) wouldn't pay any more than my winning bid and b) certainly wouldn't feel I'd "done anyone over"
I just wish I'd bought it.

    Ah-ha, I wondered, I know a man who was looking for a microbus. ;)

  18. So what did it sell for ? I was so tempted when it was first up with the westy roof but other things got in the way and it dropped of my radar

  19. It was me, I was the lucky winner, feel almost guilty, but can't wait to pick it up! I'm new here, I owned a 1974 T2 about 25 years ago and always regretted selling it. It's been on my bucket list ever since, when I saw this one I was so excited and can't wait to go away with the kids who are almost as excited as me!
