Looks like you're cracking on with that @rickyrooo1, I've been in a similar situation although not with fitting floors and kitchens, mine has mostly been wiring up lights and finishing off half-finished projects from the previous owner. Luckily @lost-en-france taught me how to use a muiltimeter otherwise I might have electrocuted myself on the wires that the previous owner said had been disconnected but were actually live
I own every single boundary cos mine was ere first. It's only when estates or terraces are built that those one size fits all rules apply. There will be deeds somewhere.
It is usual to plant the 2 to 3 foot ,60-90cm ,I do not know this "inch" measurement... Shops want you to buy more... more borders more work...
You are not wrong, I have about 300ft (sorry 100m) of 6ft closeboard fence I paid for many years ago. Concrete posts and as good as new-ish. Anyway I'm outta here so no more of that.
Quick update, after 4 months of not having a kitchen and having the old one in the garage we have ordered a new fitted one from a local guy, unfortunately he's busy until October so I've bunged a temporary one in with bits from work (all low end cheap stuff) even this feels like luxury after having a camping table for 4 months..... Just got to get 2 cupboard doors today.
it really is just thrown in, rough measurements and no spirit level or planning - where it fit is where it sits.... if it was just me i'd probably have gone with it and fitted it neater, but ladies like a nice kitchen so...... better than traffic lights i guess.
