My garden needs weeding and the kids have offered to do it at a price. I am unsure if the low price is worth the damage.

I have a Bosch hedge trimmer and a Bosch grass strimmer, both cordless. To avoid charging each battery in the wrong charger, notwithstanding that they are actually completely interchangeable, I have put a sticker on the charger and battery for the strimmer with a "G" on it.

Does the panel think I need to get out more?

I'm surprised it needs its own thread.
Apart from when the site crashes most of you are normally perfectly capable without one.

  9. on occasions, when I'm making a cup of tea, I'll pour the water into the cup several seconds before the kettle has actually switched itself off. I calculate that after 75 years, I will have saved enough energy to make a cup of tea from a fully boiled kettle. How I shall relish that 'free' cuppa....

  10. Get this! Last week I successfully opened a packet of milk chocolate digestives by tearing the top seam apart, rather than using the tab...
Here's the best bit.....having eaten four biscuits, there was sufficient packaging above the new 'biscuit line' to twist the wrapping several times, thus sealing the packet without the need to resort to a clothes peg or alternative device

Have you ever tried opening biscuits this way Doug?

On occasion the magpie family return to their nest en masse that is in in one of the silver birch trees at The bottom of my garden.

  18. I was going to post a long thread about insulating my bus, flog some boxes I made with integral cup holders to go between the front seats and discuss ripping the heart and soul from my bus by bolting a Japanese engine in it!
