  1. Do you have the crumpet toaster ?

    18 3 7317 E11 2343 22

This is your M plate decoded @Chris Osborne. It looks like it was auto originally and the colour is a special. Is the colour still the original colour?

I am guessing you have an Oxford conversion - It should be a so number of so73/11, but I think it all ties in eleswhere.

It's deffo an Oxford - I did look inside - that's why I posted it, it's exactly the same as mine except the later roof fixings, even all orange plaid!

@Chris Osborne it's no Helsinki - they have a fold out cooker and a sink where you cooker is.

My interior is a Malaga, a bit earlier than yours - seems by @poptop2 's scientific research and my general ramblings that an Oxford is a later Malaga.

Is this one on eBay yet?

  12. Not sure what you mean, but if you are asking am I selling, then it's a definite no. I love my van and I plan to keep it and do loads with it.

    Nice van that :)

Did the M plate thing help. Is it still auto and does the rest of the info tie in?

  14. Really interesting to see that info thanks. It's not an auto now, somebody converted it to manual and put a type 4 engine in. Red cloth ( orange plaid) and head rest still there.

I knew it was original inside, which was important to me, but the wife was not happy bout this and I had her moaning on about getting a more modern interior. This was increased when I decided to lower it a bit and stick some Fuchs on it. The good thing bout this news is she now accepts that we should leave it stock inside.

  15. I posted on a similar thread before .... I think my interior is an Oxford (in an earlybay). I bought off a bloke with a 78 or 79 van.

Handy interior to get your hands on if you have a RHD bus early or late. Can't help feeling the bloke who got shut did himself out of something quite scarce.

  17. yes ..... although, i'm pretty sure they said they were adapting their van to accommodate their son who used a wheelchair.

but, i really like the layout. initially i wanted one with the cooker that folds out across the gap but i think i now prefer this ..... especially the crumpet toaster ;)

  20. Hi All new to the late bay and was trying to find what my Westy is and found your forum. I have a RHD 75 on a P plate with the same interior in the earlier pictures. Does your ones have the twin gas bottle holders that sit through the floor and is visible from the outside looking like two boxes hanging underneath ( thought they were some diy job at first). I have seen one other one at grill n chill last year and one on ebay both were pastel white same as mine. I dont have a toaster but do have a small gas fire fitted below the side seat. Any further info would be welcome.
