Taa, i've been wondering how many entrys they might get. I had to send off just to get the application pack and there's a fair bit of stuff to do to send with it. So I imagine that filters out some of the less committed potential entrys.

Zed thinks being female might be an advantage, it'll be out of my hands by this afternoon, then I can spend the next month waiting to find out my fate

The metal frame will bolt to the barrels and give me something squarer to build the chassis to.

 

Have you discovered the best way to bond the barrels yet?

 

I haven't tried, those 6 cables ties are holding up quite well for the time being

 

Clearly some kind of tape!

Duct tape?

 

If there's a big enough overlap you could use staggered lines of nuts and bolts with big washers to spread the load.
