I have in the past spent good money on van covers from Protec and Hamilton. Both are reasonable quality with the Protec one being slightly better as it has an opening on one side to get access to the side load door. However, both didn't last more than a couple of years before the seams ripped and they had to be binned. So, I now have a new garage to house the van but thought I'd buy a new cover to throw over it to add a bit of protection through the winter months. I felt it didn't need to be an expensive one after all it only has to keep the dust off and not months of rain. So I bought the cheaper JK one knowing it won' t be quite the same quality but I didn't expect it to barely fit! It seems more suited to my golf! I'll be calling JK in the morning to arrange a refund.
Ive been using the JK Deluxe one for three years now, fits perfectly well & has not aged at all. Can't complain here, perhaps yours is for a split screen?
My poptop is smaller than a moonraker but I think there would have been plenty of room. Sounds like you've got a wrong-un.
My van is a standard devon and the JK cover I bought last year fits perfectly as long as I take the roof rack off.
That must be why then. They did used to say it wouldn't fit all pop-tops on the listing. Edit, it now says "will fit pop-tops" so either its a wrong 'un or they've ballsed up their measurements.
