I guess I've been lucky that I can use a mechanic who is semi retired and has worked for my partners family for about 50 years tho as he's 65 and not in the best of health I should really pull my finger out and start trying to do things myself. I shall start my 2015 techenders list forthwith! I have offered to labour for the mechanic to assist and learn but he refuses to allow me in!
@rickyrooo1 I'd be interested in your mud flaps if you do remove them conpletely . I need to some to stop dirt getting onto the gas tank
so today the "sad" task of emptying the perishable items from the van and starting to use it to store stuff in has begun, normally i'd still be looking forward to more camping but with the imminent house move i need to start sorting my sheds out, therefore anything van/camping related is going to be boxed up and stored in the van, hopefully if we move in time to get straight for christmas we can go camping for new years eve etc but for now it looks like my camping season is over i'm going to keep the van driveable incase my daily fails but it's not going to be possible to do anything other than go short trips in it due to the ammount of stuff i need to pack in.
Not funny. mine really looks like that most of the time. I see you've got curtains Rick. Can i ask where you got them and did you use the westy alloy track or fit new. I fancy getting some for next year.
yeah microwave and toaster live under the bed mrs roo made the curtains total cost £5, still using all original westy track.
they aren't great up close, she'd never done any before but the original brown ones had faded bad and the sun bleaching had made them go green in places, but they do the job.
