Thanks everyone I had brilliant weekend, got home and back of van wasnt covered in oil. Result !
Hopefully next time it wont be 1 crispy but 3 crispies !!!

 

We're home! AA just dropped me off and Ed is dashing up to the storage with the AA guy. Thanks for everything!

 

Thanks everyone for a super chilled weekend! I got home about 8pm yesterday.

I didn't do anything to our van other than make the water pump switch work, but it was good to have a chat and a few beers.
On the way home had a few squeaking/squealing noises at low speeds (like crawling through the jam on the M1 south). Wheel bearings perhaps?

 

Had a really chilled time, thanks for all the support and words of great wisdom lol you old timers . I do have work for next time

you were missed however @paulcalf took on the vegitarian mantle for @Ermintrude and was there for ed's usual jokes about the breakfasts/not mowing the grass etc.

 

Our Charlie loves Doug & even made a loom band Doug then I believe he managed to get Doug to pay for it!

 

I believe it was a token gift!!

 

Wasn't scary at all, I was just worried I'd total the engine if I took it out of gear and let it rev as high as it could. If the engine had more than 40hp it would have been!

 

Was not expecting a viewing on the house today... Day after techenders = washing everywhere, grass everywhere and a fire scent wafting through the house.... Well u never know they might like it!!

 

makes a change from coffee and bread baking like they tell you on location location location.

 

Its looks like Uncle Doug had a minder as well so it might of been kinder of safe.

Massive thanks to @Jack Tatty & @physiopro for all the guidance, help and support with changing oil and adjusting valves. I'm slightly ashamed that i've owned my bus for about 18 years and have never done oil and valves myself!

I may have lost my jacket, i got it back from @physiopro s van, but no idea what happened to it afterwards! It is a black high gear jacket if anyone comes across it.
