  2. now have taken of the ole roof to find more hidden rust rot under neath the back rail .
    i cut out the rotten areas and remade and welded them in followed with a skim of filler owen nw

  3. da ed the whole car bar 1 panel when i run out of 120 disc s, finished filling the roof etc looks good , will do the car again with 240 then 320 discs owen nw

  4. now finished of da ing the body so now coat in 2k high build primer mixed 3 to 1 owen nw

  7. many thanks well am very pleased with it so far ,2 door need little or no work , engine lid and bonnet need alittle work owennw
     
  8. flattened down the primer and had to stopper a few places pin holes in the filler and one high spot to sort .i then masked up to stone chipp the lower edges , owen nw

  11. striped the engine bay and front compartment zinc primed them seam sealed them and stone chipped them ,sanded the doors down and have some kinks to fill owennw

    i also replaced the ps door pins and bushes

  13. flattened down and broke through the primer in a couple of places, filled the kinks and re primed the areas .i used a flap dics and wire brush to descale the back of the bulk head behind back seats , then zinc primed and seam sealed the edges owen nw

  14. to day i started on bonnet and engine which turned out not to be as good as they looked so out with the welder again now stripped welded and ready to fill owen nw

  16. these 2 panels have pushed me to scream , every time i touched them some thing went wrong , rubbed to much, missed a low spot, high spot etc etc , so now as far as i am going with them lol .well now in high build primer mixed 3 to 1 neat no thinners owen nw

  17. Just be glad you dont fit fiberglass bodykits to cars owen
    Everytime you think you have it perfect
    You lay the top coat on and see another defect:mad:

    I found it easier to lay a good coat of high build on then leave it to cure and avoid any shrinkage
    Then flat that back
     
  18. whs is totally right , i hour after i gave it another coat to morrow ill stone chip the insides , preventions cheaper than cure thanks para hope ur all welll owen nw
