Realise this is a potentially explosive subject , but in light of recent would be interesting to know who's done what amongst TLB-ers. So, for the interest of all, press the button for your highest qualification, then let us know what it was in. You can press more than one. Also add any completely useless qualifications. I'll start: got a BSc Hons in Electronic Engineering. I also have a genuine "Man From Uncle" membership badge, Cycling Proficiency and 1 mile swimming certificate (got bored). I have in the past belonged to both the Tufty Club and the IEEE. Off you go...
i messed about at school and have nothing but worthless cse's and 16 plus, i did a city and guilds in motor vehicle technology at college after i left school but i know more than some of the "clever" lot. i picked university of life.
ive got a butlins beavers badge , cycling deficiency , swam relay across the channel , green cross code badge , tuffty club badge , life saving bronze ,silver n gold , 11 olevels , 2 a levels hnd in engineering n won three legged race once
I have some 'O' levels but I can't remember which ones or how many. I have a ridiculous amount of Food Industry qualifications, almost all of which are useless. A have a HGV 1, an expired Masters Cert and a full set Cub and Scout badges.
I have all sorts of qualifications believe it not , sadly known are relevant to renovating at vw bus ........(yes I know I can not spell or use grammar but I have my excuses )
I've got a degree in Theology. It's been absolutely vital in my career as a van restorer so far. Many's the time I've got a blob of red hot weld down my shoe, or a spark in my eye, and I've thought to myself 'I wonder what old Kierkegaard would have to say about the pain I'm in'.
Haha tufty club had forgotten about that, I was in it! I got an hnd in building management at Ayr tech, then decided I wouldn't fit into normal life/career so went AWOL for a decade! My most useful qualification has to be hgv 1, in a couple of weeks full cpc too. Others include IPAF, PASMA, forklift, ........blah blah......
I did a degree in Maths. Pretty useful in my job as a software developer. The kombi keeps me sane, staring at lines of code all day.
Really ....errr ok.......but I don't really know you .....alright then my degree is a BA Hons in community and criminal justice with an NVQ level 4 in community justice however I also have garden design and art at lower levels at NVQ and foundation, there's a list about two pages long of other random bizarre stuff I have had to do in the last 16 years through work .......if I get my way only the art and garden design will be relevant to any form of future career ......
I've got some gcses and a level 2 city and guilds in vehicle refinishing, a driving licence, and the camper and bus magazine soapbox challenge king of the hill
