Just changed my front shocks for kyb's took old shocks off came to put new ones on and there are two spacers could anyone please tell me where they go thanks for the help (again)
KYB's for early or late? Cross dressers are a bit special like that. Put them on with the spacers so that they're as vertical as possible, if it looks right, it probably is.
Yes its a cross dresser im finding out the parts i get are a bit hit and miss ive put them to spindle side been for a spin and it feels good old shocks was shot so could not feel any worse
No probs. You're aiming to get it fitted without any twisting stress on the bushes at rest and so it doesn't hit anything. When it's jacked up the arms and bottom fixing are at an odd angle comapered to when back on it's wheels, so when you're happy where the spacers fit, remove the top bolt, lean the shock back a couple of inches and tighten the bottom one fully. Then push forward and fit the top bolt. The twist you have now put on the bottom bush will disappear when it's back on it's wheels. If you don't do this the bush is permanently stressed and won't last as long. Better?
