Engine will not start after rebuild - suspect electrickery.

    I stopped 1/2 a mile from home insisting my engine was about to blow up, turned out it's was because I had connected the concertina pipes and the engine noise was piped straight to the cab. Took a while to get used to the new sound.

    ed's got a party on and he's invited us seems rude not to, plus the vans there so it's cheap camping and with my finances this month thats good..... but yes this will be every weekend for the last 4 - although i'm in bottom field tomorrow lol

    exactly this, sounds like a different bus now as i was used to tinkle noise and blowing, your work was A1 not a complaint there mate.

    so for those interested this is what i did today.
    jacked up and double checked all starter wires present - i was convinced the rougue wire had maybe been replaced and i'd never noticed - it all looked as it did, red/white tied up as it always has been...... checked continuity from it to the relay and it was continuous so i fastened it to the starter solenoid, turn key and fired almost instantly but wouldn't run, found i had a pipe off the air flow meter connected it and it ran, the tickover is a bit slow but i'll sort that.

    lol, once i'd reread through all the posts and edited out the waffle plus had @Moons draw me pictures in 5 year old terms i was well away.
