Silly questions you're afraid to ask about your bay

    Knock the pin out with a punch. It's held in place by the spring, the pin is thinner in the middle. You may have to joggle the spring about.

    if they are the same as rhd then you simply take the clip off the bottom bar and drift out the bar and unclip the the link at the top of the pedal , oh and don't forget to promptly lose the clip - d'ohh

  10. Erm, at the risk of sounding like a complete know nothing novice (which I am) I have the following stoopid questions after looking at my type 4 engine through the inspection hatch.....

    Whats this? and shouldn't it be attached to that thing there whatever it is

    Yo could do with enlarging the pics - That's my euphemism for - " i don't know soz !"

    i do think the 2nd and third pic is a a hot start relay and earth wire ( enables the engine to start when warm ) and the wire is a earth !

    Is the first the breather tube off the oil breather box? The second is the voltage regulator...

    Bigger pics would be a good plan!

    Yes well done ,first one is breather pipe and should be attached to the air filter box , second is hot start relay and the third is a wire that earth's the hot start relay - i think o_O

  15. Are lowerd vans more stable in wind or is it better to have a big gap for wind to pass underneath ?
