Section 11 - Vehicle breakdown and recovery service
Unless shown otherwise by endorsement, this extension forms part of your insurance cover.
We will extend your insurance to provide a breakdown and recovery service, if during the course of a journey your vehicle breaks down and is more than
one mile from your home (the place where you normally keep the vehicle), or the only available driver in your party suffers a serious illness or injury. Cover
will only apply to the insured vehicle and any caravan or small trailer (not more than 10 feet long) attached at the time of the breakdown. We will not pay
more than £200 in respect of any one breakdown if your Commercial Vehicle exceeds 2.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight or a maximum dimension of 6 feet
3 inches wide, 8 feet high or 18 feet long.
    UK breakdown and recovery service
We will provide this cover for any breakdown which happens during the period of insurance and within the mainland of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern
Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. A breakdown will include a mechanical or electrical breakdown (failures or breakages), flat battery, puncture,
lack of fuel, lost ignition keys or damage which results in you not being able to drive the vehicle.
    The following services will apply.
    Roadside assistance
We will arrange help at the scene of the breakdown and will arrange and pay for call-out fees and labour charges needed to start your vehicle.
    Recovery
If your vehicle cannot be repaired quickly at the scene of the breakdown, we will arrange and pay the reasonable cost of taking the vehicle, you and four
passengers from the place where the insured vehicle has broken down to any one place you choose.
    Motoring assistance in Europe
Please read the details carefully to make sure that you are fully covered and remember to follow any rules and procedures laid down for servicing the vehicle
and making a claim. (See general conditions 1 and 2.)
This insurance will provide the benefits described below if your vehicle breaks down and cannot be driven as a result of a mechanical or electrical breakdown
(failures or breakages) or damage which is caused by an accident, fire or theft and results in you not being able to drive the vehicle. The breakdown must
happen within the countries of Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, the Republic of Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein,
Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Norway or Switzerland.
This is not a maintenance policy and so does not cover the cost of parts or the cost of non-emergency repair work, such as routine servicing
    or tuning

    Emergency service in Europe
While we hope that you do not suffer any problems, if your vehicle breaks down, help is available by calling the 24-hour English speaking emergency phone
service. The emergency phone numbers are shown on page 4 of this document. Try to call from a place where it is easy to call you back. Please note that
it is not always possible to provide automatic hire vehicles or accessories such as bike racks, luggage racks or tow bars.
Remember to keep all vouchers, invoices and receipts and other documents which may be relevant to your claim. You must write and tell us about any claims,
as soon as possible, and in any event within 14 days of the event.
Our address is RH Recovery, The Rescue Control Centre, Equity Red Star, Library House, New Road, Brentwood, Essex CM14 4GD.
    Phone: 01277 235500 Fax: 01277 206662.
    Benefits: European vehicle breakdown recovery
You will have cover for the following:
    1 The
costs of arranging immediate emergency roadside help after a breakdown. The most we will pay will be £250 in any one period of travel but the cost of
replacement parts is not covered. If the insured vehicle cannot be repaired quickly at the scene of the breakdown, we will arrange and pay the reasonable
cost of taking the vehicle, you and four passengers to a nearby garage for it to be repaired at your cost.
    2 If
the insured vehicle is out of use for a period of more than eight hours as a result of a breakdown or due to death, serious injury or serious illness of
the only available driver, we will refund the following costs and expenses as long as they are as a direct result of the breakdown or illness and are paid
immediately after the breakdown or illness.
a The cost of taking the vehicle to the nearest garage or railway.
b Freight costs to get any replacement part which is not available locally.
c The cost of one of the following.
n Hiring one replacement vehicle up to £70 a day and £800 in total.
n Hiring one chauffeur if there is a serious illness of the only available driver in your party, up to £100 a day and £500 in total.
n Second-class rail fares so that you and your party can finish your journey or return home.
    n Extra
hotel accommodation costs for you and each member of your party up to £30 a person a day incurred during the journey to and from your holiday
destination for up to five days. (We will not pay any amount for meals or drinks.)
d The cost of taking the insured vehicle to your home if it cannot be repaired before your planned return date or costs you have to pay travelling from your
home or holiday to the scene of the breakdown to collect the vehicle after it is repaired. (These costs must not be more than economy-class air fare plus
    extra expenses up to £50.)
e The cost of emergency repairs to secure the vehicle if it is damaged by attempted theft or break-in up to £100. (We will need a Police Report.)
f The cost of hiring a replacement vehicle up to £150 if your vehicle is still out of use when you return to the United Kingdom.

No-one even knows about you and it's fairly clear this whole thread is about a site sponsor.
To be fair as an insurer of classic vehicles that can't offer breakdown cover you're not that useful.
