TLB Volksworld display - ideas wanted

Really cool bunting!! I've scoured 12 charity shops and found nothing of any good. Really hard to find vintage stuff for our era! Any thing of any good they want top dollar for. I did find plenty of plain white china so if people are as fruitless as I have been I can go back and get plain stuff. ( something is better than nothing) happy hunting

 

We've got 6 cups and saucers so far - think any more will be useful!

No tablecloths yet either...

I have borrowed a tea urn for the weekend☕ also have a table cloth that may work

 

Of course, I will charge up all the batteries

 

Sounds like this is going to be loads of fun have a great time guys n girls

 

i will bring generator as i might need to charge my battery if my propex drains me dry but i will give you it fri Jen just look for my flag [roof] i have some fuel and a can to get you going but dont forget it is small generator it should run the urn.

kenregency that should be perfect - we plan to have scheduled times for the tea so it won't be on constantly and we will bring 2 spare cans of petrol

 

the fuel must be 50:1 mixed two stroke you can get the right size sachet to put in one can from a hire shop ,
this is the one someone must know if it will run the urn

 

I betting the urn is rated over a kilowatt and that genny wont run it

I can't seem to track down any cups etc but I suppose if push comes to shove we can get some disposable party cups or something. This is going to be awesome!!!

A large stock pot with a brass tap fitted sat on top of a gas camping ring would do the trick

 

is the urn a kw or more

 

cant we all take our own mug along

I suspect that the urn will be more than 850w and we will have to just keep a kettle on the boil

 

kenregency - we will have mugs but show visitors won't

if we can not sort out the tea urn it will be a shame but we can just keep kettles on the boil

can everyone in the display make sure they have plenty of cooking gas!

Looks like i Might have a generator that will be ok! Also got 4 cups and saucers today and will have another search during the week. Happy times.
