1. I never mentioned a certain person, this was an example which referred to someone not associated to the forum. Being annoying and child like is not confined to TLB
2. "members post things mods don't like it gets locked or removed" - not strictly true this also happens when posts are reported by members who are concerned about things posted. Despite the romour mods are not omnipresent and also rely on other members to raise concerns.
3. As has been mentioned numerous times the Admin section was never supposed to be open to all. Just like peoples PM's I'm sure things are said in those that would warrant a warning.

Finally the old adage "if you can't do the time don't do the crime" reworked for the modern internet times.

I make this analogy. In day-to-day life people generally do not say what they feel, more hide their emotions and how they think about certain individuals within their life.
When you are driving a car and somebody annoys you in the manner that they are driving, a lot of people will admit to swear under their breath and say something derogatory towards that individual, even though they may be a thoroughly nice individual.
However if that very same person was to come alongside you and have is window down, the majority of us would not say anything to do derogatory towards that person.

In other words if you in an environment where you feel safe you are likely to express your feelings at the time.
The same applies if you are in our forum environment and not meeting that person face-to-face.

If we were all truly honest with ourselves and asked the question have we said anything that may offend other people.........

The answer would most likely be in .......... YES

Chris you are a funny man No one person is as big as the forum now. You can leave at anytime and it'll still be here.

But what people are failing to mention is the threads in the staff room that go above and beyond when a member is having "problems" and the concern they have for their well being like in the "when someone says I'm off" I know several of the mods have made contact with certain members about these. But no one seems to care. All they want to do is pick holes yet again in a forum that has a different feel to many forums out there.

But like walking into a pub, if you don't like the music, walk away.

Hope the thread doesn't get pulled - Mr B needs to read todays posts. Don't have anything to add other than that at the moment, but do find it very surprising that all these people that keep saying they have copies of what was in the staff room, haven't posted it for everyone to see after the mods have asked - think it would help a lot of people as no one likes not knowing and that causes lots of mixed feelings in itself.
