    Don't we all :)

  3. Spent the day searching for one in Somerset, turns out the owner sent it for scrap a short while ago. :-(

  5. Yes, thank you.
I know that bay, the owner has an inflated view of it's worth. :-(
It's been "sold" three times to my knowledge!

  8. You can have mine for 8k :)

  9. Send me some pictures.
If I go down the 'ready-built' route I'll be looking to buy in the next few weeks.

  10. well I wasnt actually expecting you to reply but I'll email you some later. It's a 1976 with a 2ltr type 4 engine. I've just put a brandnew pair of webber carbs on it (no choke) serviced and replaced the cv joints at the gearbox ends as one was running noisy. just recovered the seats in cream and it's got a new pioneer cd with usb plug. decent tyres on steel rims with baby moon hub caps. new chrome wing mirrors and a new cab carpet. It's a sweedish import and the body and underneath is pretty much rust free. I think it's going to need a new battery tray and a bit of work on the rear valance but other than that it's solid. I'm not really looking to sell it to be honest but 8k is what it owes me so far.
I'm planning a respray this year so I'm in no major panic to get rid. It's a good runner and isnt shy of sitting at 65 on a run. it's a lefty so not to everyones liking. that said, it's a real head turner :)

  11. I am going to have one. I have money coming to me in a few weeks and I've nearly finished (for the time being) both Ted my '72 X-over and my '68 Beetle.
Always wanted a crewcab and to put a monster engine in it. So that's my next project.

  12. Say again
