Bled the brakes in prep for the mot :)

  2. Changed the oil filler / breather box....should have done it when the engine was out. Might have been a bit quicker when it came to lining up the nut spanner.

  3. Nothing at all. It's been hibernating in the garage out of this poo weather since end of October.

  7. The paint and prep, What did you use? Looks really good

  8. The top was hanging ie: all rivets were loose and all seals were knackered . I replaced the rivets first and repaired the broken internal box sections inside. Then I covered the top with off white car roof vinyl (like the old car vinyl roofs) from http://www.martrim.co.uk/index.html fixed using 2 tins off his high temp adhesive.

Then fit a new seal on the the inner section, now covered in the new vinyl so now it is watertight even if a rivet is slightly loose.

Inner headlining and clips and seals from http://www.poptop-parts.co.uk/devon-bw68.htm

New MPK 400mm roof skylight from ishop on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roof-Vent...ervan_Caravan_Accessories&hash=item3a79818ce0

then fitted the outer ali bit, then outer seal and voila :)

i was supposed to book it in today and forgot

  12. Finshed colour sanding the tinware and decided to us aerosol enamel paint to speed things up a bit
£13 for a tin of spray and ive used half of it for one side of the tinware and its had a bad reaction with the tractor enamel and even if it didnt the gloss is very poor on it compared to the tractor enamel

Waste of £13 and now ive got to flat it right back again:eek:

  13. I know how you feel, my rear tin got over spray on when I painted the van. I re painted it and it reacted, wish i had flipping left it :(

  14. Decided curtain material - well Doris did!!

  15. Changed indicators on Colin, put a bit of silicone behind them for a better seal, gave the new worktops another coat of paint, and screwed the timing scale and fan grill MackBus

  16. I popped down to the garage to get my ECU and immobiliser fitted. Been running round for the past 3 weeks or so on the garage owner's immobiliser while mine was being fixed. He also got my heater fan working on both speeds. :)

  17. Not actually today but on Saturday we took a run out to sunny Felixstowe went well dropped our son and his mate off at the skate park, went to pull off to go to the beach for a walk , and it cut out my fuel filter was chocker with crap so in my best clothes on stripped the fuel pipe and cleaned it all put it back together all in 20 mins so my lovely wife could go for a walk and do some shopping,
So this weekend a fuel tank clean out I think,
