No idea what it’s worth… I’ll donate £100 to you to save it… Edit to add we can do a late bay whip around… bit like keeping the forum open
Very kind and generous offer but selling the little 1300 GT will be straightforward .The two tricky ones I would like to go to a good home or at least salvaged for spares is the grey 1957 Austin A50 and the remains of the 1947 van . The Maxi owners club members have been offered free spares from the rough Maxi and the complete car can be bought around £300 . Anyone fancy an old Maxi ? I have made some progress today by arranging for someone to clear a load of scaffolding poles from the lady's garden . I am not a hoarder in fact i am the complete opposite so clearing out unwanted items comes quite easy to me
No ! Will clear most of the others by word of mouth and then fleabay that one and maybe the Triumph unless someone would like to make me a reasonable offer on either car .
Deposit now taken on the little Austin .I contacted the 1100/1300 owners club and it sold without a viewing within hours of the advert . Glad it is going to an enthusiast . Sadly no interest yet on the Maxi or the A50 .
Just a quick update on the cars BMW and Allegro sold and now featured on YouTube .The BMW under the dust and grime was a really nice car and the Allegro is now running and during the clean a pair of soiled pants were found in the boot (Please watch the YouTube videos ) Vitesse has been collected and MG goes on Sunday. Austin A50 is going to Essex to be used as a spares car , Austin 1300GT is heading to Axminster to be restored , Sierra and Mondeo are sold awaiting collection. That just leaves the Two Maxi's although only one is salvageable and the remains of the 1947 Morris Z van . Any takers on the Maxi ? This was found in the soon to be dismantled polytunnel with the BMW. Its an early television where you watch the screen via a mirror .Never seen one before !
